This will probably not come as any kind of a surprise but we aren’t exactly organized with our workouts. Most days we run a bunch of miles after which one of us inevitably asks, “legs or arms?” Then there’s lots of complaining, visiting, and discussion in an attempt to avoid the upcoming torture. After another 30 minutes, we finally pull our act together and get down to business.
Recently, we decided we were tired of our same old arm routine. Seeing that we needed to deal with this newfound revelation we, of course, decided to turn to the wonderful world of Pinterest. As it turns out, there are countless routines out there that are amazing (by amazing we mean uncomfortable and tiring). We thought it would be fun to discuss two of our favorites and also give our opinion on them…of course!😁
The routine we tested out most recently is from Weight loss squad.
The first time we did it, it took forever…like seriously close to an hour. It involves 3 sets of 15 reps apiece…insanity! It took us awhile to connect the dots as to why our workout session was taking so long. On the bright side, we were both definitely sore the next day! We wizened up on our second go around, we decided to do just two sets of 15 instead of three. It has rapidly become one of our go-to arm workouts. It’s effective and efficient with enough variation to keep those muscles guessing.
The other routine we really like is from Norichmovelove.com. It’s quickly shot to the top of our list.
This routine is challenging and doable. It has strength exercises focused on one muscle group followed by burnout moves to fatigue the same muscles even more. By the end, our muscles were crying sweat. One point worth mentioning, the “burn out” moves definitely required lighter weights than the “strength” exercises.
We’d never seen the last triceps move before and it is a killer!! You’ve been warned.
