Welcome to those of you who decided to take us up on our ab and squat challenge for the month! Gotta be honest, I’m loving these short days!! Today was 10 sit ups, 10 crunches, and 10 squats. It felt just fine. I’m surprised they’re giving us so many shorter days in a row, I hadn’t anticipated that. Still not complaining about it though! This week is one of my harder running weeks so I’ve been reading a lot about injury prevention. For those of you that might be interested, there’s a great post from CXPFitness that talks about the benefits of hot and cold injury prevention. Take a look!!
I can honestly say the hardest thing about the challenge today was remembering to do it. I completely forgot about it until Annie texted me telling me to get my post done! Doing a little every day not only makes me feel strong but always helps me stay in the “training” frame of mind. I think it must have similar effects as a run streak. (If you wanna read what we think of that pop over to our blog Lace up Those Shoes, It’s Time To Go Streaking) All that to say, today was easy and felt good. And feel stronger for it. Bring on the big gains! 😂😂😂
