Day 15 – Starting to Feel It…Again

Welcome to those of you who decided to take us up on our ab and squat challenge for the month!  If you’re wondering what the heck we’re talking about wander over to our March Monthly Update blog post and scroll to the bottom…it’ll catch you up.  So we’re adding a new post about it (hopefully) each day this month.  The idea is that we’re going to share our immediate thoughts and reactions (or whining and complaints) each day as we progress through March.  Lydia is in italics, Annie is regular font.  Just hoping we survive it!


March 15

Rest is officially over…*sigh*.  Today I started feeling it again.  Although it wasn’t nearly the butt burning workout of last week, it still was enough for me to grumble.  Granted, getting me to whine doesn’t take much.  So this is officially the halfway point.  For everyone who’s joined in the journey, congratulations!  I hope your body is looking very beach ready.  Mine continues to look…well…it’s beach ready as long as I’m in a muumuu. That’s okay, I like muumuus!!

How do I continue to forget about the challenge until the last possible minute? Also, can we go back to yesterday when we only had 10 of each? All that aside, I’m feeling accomplished to have made it this far. While I was half way through the sit-ups my 5 year old son came down from bed to inform me, “Abe Lincoln and George Washington killed Bigfoot…and the Abominable Snowman.” Not only did I get my workout done but I learned something…kinda.

  1. Good job on hitting the halfway point! I’m on Day 9–REST DAY!!!! LOL. Lydia, I was worried about forgetting the challenge so I made the picture the wallpaper on my phone. I haven’t forgotten a day yet!
